PAGODA WALKWAY |
JEWEL BOX |
|
|
Built on a 17-acre site in Forest Park by the City of St. Louis in 1936, the Jewel Box grounds are the place to enjoy the splendor of spring as it comes alive with colorful blooms including these amazing daffodils and tulips. Permanent floral displays are supplemented with seasonal flowers grown and planted by the Flora Conservancy of Forest Park, volunteer gardening group, and Horticulture Section of the Parks Division. |

Completely renovated in 2000, Pagoda Circle and the Nathan Frank Bandstand provide a romantic backdrop for artists, picnickers, and the occasional wedding party, while the surrounding wetlands make it prime bird-watching territory. |

Dedicated in 1936 and renovated in 2002, the Jewel Box has operated as a Floral Conservatory since its inception. Seasonal flora displays are popular attractions and are now completely accessible. |
