DENNIS & JUDITH JONES
VISITOR & EDUCATION CENTER
BOATHOUSE
PAGODA CIRCLE

Originally the Lindell Pavilion, this historic structure was built in 1892 as a shelter for streetcar passengers (and remodeled in 1914 for use by golf and tennis players.)  Formerly known as the Field House, this iconic building was renovated and reopened in 2003 as the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center.

Reminiscent of Midwestern boathouse cottages in the early twentieth century, Forest Park's Boathouse is your gateway ot enjoy the simple pleasures of Post-Dispatch Lake and restored Grand Basin at the foot of Art Hill.  Reflect on fond memories with this delightful night-time scene.

Completely renovated in 2000, Pagoda Circle and the Nathan Frank Bandstand provide a romantic backdrop for artists, picnickers, and the occasional wedding party, while the surrounding wetlands make it prime bird-watching territory.
